1. COME TO THE GALA, Friday May 14th!

Click here to buy tickets online, grab raffle tickets and sign up for childcare.

Join us for this fun night out to support our school with easy childcare... What could be better?! Once you RSVP and hit "submit," click the online payment link to purchase event tickets, raffle tickets, and childcare. Contact the Office for alternate payment options.

When:  Saturday, 5/14 at 6:30pm-10:30pm
Where:  Donkey & Goat Winery (1340 5th St, Berkeley, 1 block from the school)
Tickets:   $25/person
Raffle:  $5 for 1, $20 for 5 and $40 for 10
Childcare:  6:15pm-11pm, available at Duck’s Nest, $30 for one child, $25 for additional children.
Food/Drink:  Ebbetts Good-To-Go Food Truck and complimentary local beer and wine
Fun/Entertainment:  Silent & live auctions with live music by Destani Wolf, Ducks' Nest parent! Click here to check out her song *about being a mom!

2. DONATE A HOSTED PARTY OR AUCTION ITEM!

What is a hosted party? They're a great way to meet and hang out with other families, all while supporting your school! Propose a fun event to host, decide how many can attend, and then folks sign up at the auction (flat rate - no bidding).

To donate a hosted-party, please fill out this form by May 4th:

Example parties include:

  • Game Night! 10-15 people, Enjoy and good fun and "Apples to Apples" with other parents...drinks and appetizers included.
  • Mom's Dark and Stormies - 10-15 moms invited to drink cocktails under the stars with heat lamps with delicious appetizers!
  • Kids Cookie Baking Party - 6 kids invited to bake cookies with their friends. Ingredients and decorations provided.
  • Hair Braiding Party - Up to 6 kid/parent duos. Learn how to braid your child's hair, including how to do an Elsa french braid!
  • Homemade Beer Party - 6-8 adults. Learn about the beer-making process.

3. DONATE A BOTTLE OF WINE! Help support the raffle.

This year's raffle includes a cellar of wine! We are requesting that each class collectively donate 10 bottles of wine towards this prize. Please bring in your favorite bottle of wine (value at >$15). And be sure to buy raffle tickets for your chance to win the wine cellar, or a free month's tuition, or 6 months free Parents Night Out (PNO).

Raffle tickets can be purchased online (even if you're not attending the event), at the DNPA coffee time or at the event. Tickets are $5 for 1, $20 for 5 and $40 for 10.

The DNPA organizes community events and outreach programs, as well as fundraisers to foster educational enrichment and community. Events organized by the DNPA are structured to pay for themselves or to create a positive financial contribution back to the Duck’s Nest community and school. By participating in the DNPA and volunteering for an event, you are making a valuable contribution to your children and your community.
