DNPA Update: Week of 6/6


The DNPA has resurfaced after the Gala!  It was wonderful to see you all at the event!  The music and atmosphere were fantastic.  Thank you for your help in making it such a success!

We are still receiving payments and covering expenses, but we can safely say that we reached our goal and raised over $10,000.00!!

The DNPA will commit the next DNPA meeting to allocating the funds raised at the Gala.

The next DNPA meeting will be on Tuesday, June 21st from 5:45-7pm. 
Dinner and childcare will be provided!

Our current proposed expenditures are:
     - Performance series
     - Community events (fall festival, movie night, new families brunch, DNPA meetings, etc.)
     - Ongoing teacher gift support
     - Bikes
     - Garden support
     - Community donation support (Harrison house)


New Families Brunch, June 4th. New families were invited to the school to visit and hear about the school and community. Thanks to all those who helped out!


This Fri June 10th - Teacher Appreciation Dinner
Last year we hosted a fun night out for the teachers at the Hotsy Totsy.  This years event will be a hosted dinner at the Log Cabin in Albany.  The DNPA and room parents are finalizing Thank You cards from the families to deliver at the dinner. Please sign by the end of today (Thursday)!

Tues June 21st - DNPA meeting, 5:45-7pm
Dinner and childcare will be provided!

And, don't forget the End of the Year Picnic!
The office will be sending out mail closer to the date in August.  

The DNPA organizes community events and outreach programs, as well as fundraisers to foster educational enrichment and community. Events organized by the DNPA are structured to pay for themselves or to create a positive financial contribution back to the Duck’s Nest community and school. By participating in the DNPA and volunteering for an event, you are making a valuable contribution to your children and your community.
